ADVOCACY/EDUCATION - MENTAL ILLNESS
Provides support, advocacy and education to members, the public and their families who are affected with chronic and/or severe mental illness. Members and their families receive a network of affiliate assistance which provides educational support, consumer self-help groups, family support groups, a resource catalog, access to the annual convention, a monthly newsletter, and access to the NAMI helpline for information and resources. The helpline number is 571-458-7310.
